Ever since its inception 27 years ago, the Interact Club of Loyola School has been an active club. The Loyola Interact is affiliated to Rotary International and its loyal band of 70-odd members are involved in a variety of charitable programmes for numerous social organisations in and around the Jamshedpur township. Its moderator, Mr. C. Natarajan has been the Club’s guiding light for the past 23 eventful years. From a small organization of “do-gooders”, the Club now champions the cause of the poor and under privileged. The Interact Calendar consists of annual projects and weekly duties. Loyola’s Interact Club is a pioneer of the Paper Drive project and it is the only club in Jamshedpur to conduct an emission check on polluting vehicles and issue tokens which are valid under the state law. Duties also Consist of assisting charitable organisations in their field of work during the week ends. The Interact will always stand for the spirit of teamwork, Co-operation and selfless service. It will forever strive to Create goodwill amongst all its deeds and be a proud help to our society; for all Interacters believe that “we have miles to go before we sleep. |
