IMRB survey ranks the premier city school 15th![]() Education World Loyola is the only school from Bihar, Jharkhand and Orissa to figure in the list of 100 best schools of the country. The survey was based on 12 parameters — academic reputation, co-curricular education, sports education, quality of teachers, teacher-student ratio, value for money leadership quality, parental involvement, infrastructure, alumni association, integrity and admission procedure. Loyola secured sixth and seventh ranks for infrastructure and sports education, respectively In East Zone, Kolkata-based South Point School, La Martiniere Boys and La Martiniere Girls have secured the top three places, ahead of Loyola.The students and teachers of the school greeted the findings of the Education World and IMRB survey with a round of applause Wednesday morning. An elated school principal Fr. Victor Misquith said, "Loyola has proved that it is among the best in the country. We will try to become the country's best now This is a rare achievement and inspires us to march ahead." Earlier, the Loyola School authorities had expressed their displeasure over the school's non-selection in the J. J. Irani Excellence in Education Award ceremony, held some months back. "The IMRB is a prominent and respectable agency and we have got our due honours. Our academic and other facilities have the potential to compete with the best in the country" Misquith added.
