![]() Alirtair Laporte I had the good fortune of studying under 3 principals, each very special in his way. Fr. Kenneth Judge, Fr. Frank McGauley and Fr. Michael Love were true friends, philosophers and guides. The Jesuit work ethos was prevalent everywhere. Later when I taught in St. Joseph’s Boys’ School, Bangalore, all that I had learned at Loyola stood me in good stead. ![]() Faculty (1971) Why is it that thinking of Loyola makes me so nostalgic? What is so special about my school? It is the school that imparted quality education in every sense of the word. The calibre of the teachers was incomparable which was why they served as role models. Each teacher gave me something to cherish, treasure and value. During the 6 years I studied there, they moulded me into what I am. And every single day of those 6 years was memorable. Every classroom, wall, window, door, corridor and pillar holds a memory that is etched on my mind. Those wonderful, marvellous, glorious 6 years left an indelible mark, adding a new dimension to my life. Thank you alma mater, for letting me be part of your greatness and glory. |
