Principal's Message

Fr. Victor Misquith, SJ

Dear Parents,

The calendar year is drawing to a close and we thank the Almighty for the wonderful year that has gone by. At Loyola it has been a very eventful year. In keeping with our practice of providing opportunities for all round development of our students, we have had a number of activities during the course of the year.

Dear Parents,

At Loyola we believe that Change is the Only Constant. We are continuously trying to re-invent ourselves and introduce new ideas, policies and projects in an attempt to keep pace with the fast changing world. We are proud to share some of the initiatives taken in the recent past.

  • Based on the feed back received from some parents that there is a need for more interaction between the Principal/teachers and the parents, we have initiated  Parent/Principal meetings.  During the last few weeks, we have had these meetings for various classes where the parents have had an opportunity to interact with the Principal, class teachers and the subject teachers. We have had a very positive response to these meetings. More such meetings for the other classes have been scheduled for the coming months.

Dear Parents,

As another academic year draws to a close, we thank the Almighty for all the happy times and have drawn strength from him during troubled times. The Final exams are drawing near and it is time the children got down to serious studies.

In a school like ours the need for continuous improvement and innovation in knowledge disbursement needs hardly be emphasized. As the children conquer peak after challenging peak of success we deem it our duty to provide them with all the support in the form of state of the art infrastructure, providing them with challenging opportunities to test their mettle, and last but not the least, the required guidance and motivation in the form of reward and recognition. We hope the children will make optimum use of the facilities provided to them.

Dear Parents,

As the academic year draws to a close, it is time to introspect on the year gone by. It has been a mixed year for Loyola. Our students, who are our greatest treasure, have won many laurels for the school. We have had our share of sad moments, but emerged out of them stronger.

Mrs Banoo Damodiwalla who has served our school for over 25 years will be leaving our school on superannuation. The school will miss a dedicated and sincere Librarian who instilled the love for books in our students.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are nearing the end of the year - 2009 and we would like to share with you some of the changes that have been incorporated in the management.

We bid farewell to our Rector, Fr. Oscar Horo, SJ. after six years of dedicated service to Loyola. Fr. Horo will always be remembered for his gentle ways, hard work and his great love for children. He joined Loyola in 2003 as Rector and was appointed as Vice-Principal of the Junior Section in 2005. He maintained a good rapport with his subordinates and superiors and was appreciated and liked by all. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.
