The Diamond Jubillee Celebrations got off to a running start with the Cross Country Run. Next in the pipeline is a play by Oscar Wilde, An Ideal Husband. Two shows have been scheduled for September 22 & 23, 2006 at the Tata Audirorium, XLRI. Mr. B. Muthuraman, MD, Tata Steel, will be the Guest of Honour on 23 September, 2006.


The original play has been adapted by Fr. Augustine Vattamattam and is being directed by Dr. Amit Chatterjee, one of the most illustrious alumnus of the School. He was active in the Jamshedpur theatre scene in the late 70s and early 80s. The play deals with blackmail, political corruption and public and private honor.

Tickets worth Rs 100, Rs 75 and Rs 50 are available at:
